Meet Donna

Hi I’m Donna Amos, the founder of Soloprenuer Solutions, LLC, and if you ever asked yourself:

I understand the struggles of being a solopreneur. My first business failed miserably. I learned from that failure and my second business took me about two years to figure out my processes and then implement them consistently. My second business was direct marketing for business to business clients where we developed sales letters and then did the telemarketing behind those letters.  After 10 years I thought I would go into real estate. My first year in real estate was not so good. I was really struggling with the fact that I couldn’t get it together. Then I attend an intensive sales training program (which I didn’t think I really needed) I came away from that program with huge “ah ha’s” and my career took off.

Four years later I moved into management and took over a sales office with forty sales agents. Here I was again, asking myself what am I doing. I could not figure out why I could not motivate the agents to take action. I began looking for a solution and came across coaching. I decided to become a coach. This made a huge difference in my career again. It comes down to not being afraid to challenge myself and learn what I did not know so I could accomplish the job in front of me.  After coaching real estate agents and managers, and clients outside of real estate since 2002, I left the real estate industry in 2008 and launched Solopreneur Solutions, LLC. I use my experiences, training, and coaching to help others grow successful businesses.

In 2008 I was a solopreneur today I have a small team of 6 allowing us to serve more clients. Our mission is to provide the best customer service or hand-holding that our client’s need to be successful.

If you need to develop effective business and marketing plans; create sales strategies and systems to manage your business with ease I would love to help you.  On the other hand, if you just need someone to do the marketing for you I can do that as well.

A little history you may not know about me:

I wrote my first book in third grade titled “Pokey” about a pony and that is all I remember about it. LOL

My first car was a 1965 Mustang convertible which was given to me by my uncle. Seems to be a pony theme. I had a lot of fun with friends in that car.

I have experienced the same mistake twice. In 1993 I realized I had put all of my eggs in one basket focusing on one large client. Then we had a falling out and I was left to scramble to save my business. I vowed to never do that again, but then in 2016, I did it again. I had a very large non-profit that we were providing social media services to 110 chapters across the country, then they lost their funding in 2017 and I lost the business. This is devastating as I had to let four employees and two subcontractors go. It took all of 2018 to recover. I pray I have finally learned this lesson, don’t put all of your eggs in one basket.


I feel truly blessed to have discovered you, Donna! You are such a gift.
