trafficleadsRecently I was interviewed by One Click Lindsey for her podcast Traffic and Leads. Lindsey has a great format and her content is very informative. I would highly recommend that you subscribe to her podcast on iTunes.
Once you have listened to a couple of her podcasts help her out by reviewing her podcast, once she hits 10 reviews or more iTunes will feature her podcast in the News and Noteworthy category, exposing her podcast to many eyeballs.
Have you considered a podcast yourself?
“Once you make a decision, the universe conspires to make it happen.” Ralph Waldo Emerson
A podcast opens you up to communicate and interact with more than 80% of the connected planet.
More than ever before, solopreneurs are starting their own businesses, and there are more resources available than at any other time in the history of the world.
Your message can be viewed or listened to on billions of smartphone screens, computers, tablets, televisions and even in the cars of every person, prospect, or business in the world with the click of a button –– and all of this can be done FOR FREE or ALMOST FREE.
I began my first podcast in 2008 on Blog Talk Radio and on iTunes called SoloTalk there are currently still over 145 episodes available. My podcast was live every Friday at 12 noon and for three years other than a couple of holidays I was there. Today, it is more common to record your podcasts and then upload on your schedule. I have considered venturing back into the podcast space and I would definitely do the on demand version.
Podcasting is an awesome way to get exposure with the multiple podcasting sites you can submit your podcast to.
But more importantly how would you feel if you could get your message in the pockets of Apple’s nearly 1.5 billion podcast subscribers?
On iTunes alone in 2013, 125 Million (40% of US Population) had listened to a podcast.
In Mike Koenig’s book You Everywhere Now he suggests there is a simple formula you must use to be a success.

• The first one is the desire to help people. You have to have a burning desire to improve someone else’s life and well-being.
• The second is the ability to answer questions and share your opinion or to be able to ask another expert’s intelligent questions. Your prospects have unanswered wants and needs, and you have to have the ability to deliver the answers to these questions. When you have a strong, passionate opinion (or interview an expert who does), your target prospects will side with you and rally around your cause and ideals.
• The third is you have to be able and willing to give away and share your ideas….

Now if you are saying to youself I can’t share my best stuff my listeners will just go do it for themselves and not need me. That couldn’t be further from the truth. Once they learn that you know your stuff they will be beating down your door. Most of us would like to do it ourselves but honestly we either don’t follow through or we just have too much on our plates already.
So don’t worry about sharing.
The bottom line is that a podcast can be fun and a great way to build your audience. Not to mention connecting with influencers in your area of expertise.
Congrats Lindsey on launching an excellent podcast that provides actionable content.

They overcome the fear of exposing themselves to the possibility of failure to creating profitable exciting businesses. My clients do great work, and sometimes it only takes someone else believing in them to give them the confidence to step out and take the chance.”
