Here are a few facts you may not know about this wonderful day where we give thanks for all that we have in our lives.

turkeyOn to the fun facts…Did you know that tv dinners were the invention of Swanson foods in 1953 when they over purchased turkeys at Thanksgiving. Their solution was to slice it add some veggies and package individually for sale. The outcome TV dinners for the American family.
Thanksgiving eve is the biggest bar sales of the year. The good news tomorrow you will have plenty of food to absorb all that alcohol.
Only male turkeys, called toms, gobble. Females, called hens, cackle.
Mashed potatoes, pumpkin pies, popcorn, milk, corn on the cob, and cranberries were not foods present on the first Thanksgiving’s feast table. But instead lobster, rabbit, chicken, fish, squashes, beans, chestnuts, hickory nuts, onions, leeks, dried fruits, maple syrup and honey, radishes, cabbage, carrots, and eggs are thought to have made up the first Thanksgiving feast.
Each year, the average American eats somewhere between 16 – 18 pounds of turkey, hopeful not all on Thanksgiving weekend. And Californians are the largest consumers of turkey in the United States.
A 16-week-old turkey is called a fryer. A five to seven month old turkey is called a young roaster. Poor turkeys are doomed from birth.
I hope all solopreneurs are as thankful as I am that we have the ability and privilege of doing what we do.
