I believe the rules are always changing, how we attract a following and build our businesses is a constant moving ball. I have often heard that “content is king” I don’t know if I buy that. I believe it is the quality of that content. I find it difficult to create constant content for myself because I am always concerned about the quality.  However, I do it for clients every week.

Freshness is a major focus for this months update. The algorithms that detect freshness have been tweaked to be able to better detect fresh results. Another modifier has been added that will prevent freshness from being added to low-quality content and therefore keep it from flooding result pages by taking advantage of the freshness signal.
